| Supervisors have an important role in helping professionals gain prevention credentials. This workshop will cover the critical components of starting an employee on the credentialing path and answer questions about the role of the supervisor. Participants will gain the knowledge to start the credentialing process with employees, review documents that best support their employees, and develop a plan to ensure all their employees maintain their credentials while continuing to move forward. |
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify the key steps and requirements for initiating an employee’s prevention credentialing process and explain the supervisor’s role in supporting that process.
- Utilize credentialing tools, documentation, and supervision resources to provide effective guidance and support to employees working toward prevention credentials.
- Develop a practical supervision plan that supports employees in maintaining their current credentials while continuing their professional growth and advancement in the prevention field.
