Description: 

This training introduces participants to cultural humility as a lifelong, reflective practice essential to effective prevention work.  Participants will strengthen their ability to engage communities and learn practical strategies for applying cultural humility in prevention settings, including youth engagement, coalition work, and community partnerships.

Learning Objectives:

1. Define cultural humility and explain its relevance to prevention practice.
2. Examine how systems and lived experiences can influence prevention interactions.
3. Apply cultural humility strategies to real-world scenarios
4. Strengthen confidence in engaging in your own community with humility and accountability.
