Description:

This training is designed for Ohio prevention professionals looking to strengthen their ability to implement prevention strategies tailored to different student populations. Participants will explore how to effectively engage universal (all students), selective (at-risk students), and indicated (students already experiencing challenges) prevention approaches within the classroom setting.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define and differentiate universal, selective, and indicated prevention.
  • Learn evidence-based strategies for implementing each level of prevention.
  • Explore ways to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
  • Develop action plans to integrate a tiered prevention approach into school settings.
